A little selfie action because I am obsessed with the Kylie Lip Kit (wearing Candy K). But, I hate not being able to access a new tube whenever I need to… So, I rounded up several liquid lipsticks that are also amazing. The thing I love most about the Kylie Kits are that they are super pigmented and you don’t need to constantly re-apply, so that was the criteria I was going after in these dupes:

Made a little terrarium last week and it is still going strong – yippee! I love having this little beauty greet me when I walk in the door. Here is a little quick step-by-step tutorial on how to make your own little gem at home:

1. Fill pot with a thin layer of rocks (to catch all the water run off)
2. Fill with a thin layer of cacti and succulent friendly soil like this
3. Place plants of your choice in the pot
   1. OTTEtip: choose plants of varying heights to add depth and variety
4. Fill around the plants with the soil
5. Add another layer of rocks on the top

I recommend only watering your precious plants once a week and keeping them in a sunny area of your home – they’re pretty easy to tend to.

These shades prompted lots of emails and DMs on snapchat, so I thought they deserved a little moment on the blog… They are definitely a statement shade, but don’t let that scare you away!! They are actually really flattering on all face shapes… I have a super round face, so sunglasses are kinda challenging for me to pull the trigger on online (plus, I usually don’t like my eyebrows to show in sunglasses – i know kinda strange) BUT these are actually a little out of my comfort zone but easily my favorite summer shade. So get ready to see lots of these. I have linked them below via a ton of different stores because they are always in and out of stock PLUS i found some pretty great dupes.

My current makeup “everyday” routine. I started hunting for a new go to “fresh face” tinted moisturizer in January 2016, I was going for the Gigi “dewey” look. Soon after my search started, I found the La Mer tinted moisturizer and never looked back. It has been the best thing for my skin and my routine!! I start with a clean face, apply some of the Marc Jacobs coconut primer with clean finger tips, then apply the La Mer tinted moisturizer with a damp beauty blender. I conceal under my eyes and in the middle of my forehead with NARS, smoothing that out with the damp beauty blender. Then I pencil in my brows, adding LIGHT definition and shape! Finally, I polish it all in with the Anastasia Glow Kit (not pictured, but linked below) with a big, fluffy brush.
