I’ve always been a fan of camo, so I am thrilled that this pattern is on trend for fall— it’s a neutral, in my book. I think it instantly takes any normal street wear look straight to chic, if done correctly. I am NOT here for a camo utility pant, unless you’re Kim Possible. This is not a Cadet Kelly opportunity, y’all *sorry— 90s baby here*.
To embrace the camo trend, it has to be done in a very particular manner. A formula I can always count on: CAMO PANT + GRAPHIC TEE + DENIM JACKET + STATEMENT SNEAKER. Or if you’re wanting to take camo out for a night on the town, may I suggest this combo LBD + CAMO JACKET + BOOTIE.
No matter how you’re wanting to embrace this trend, just stay clear of anything too ‘cadet like’ and you’ll be well on your way.
PRO TIP: pattern play works well with camo! My two favorite patterns to add to a camo look are stripes and leopard (but never all three at once, don’t get crazy).
