Y’all know I am a big fan of extending your hair between washes, so I am always on the hunt for great products to keep your hair looking fresh on those no wash days. I read about Waterl<ss and their amazing story and knew I had to check them out!

Waterl<ss was designed with all hair types in mind in order to keep your hair looking + feeling fresh on non-wash days even without water. With the women of Cape Town utilizingd their products during the Day Zero water crisis in 2018, Waterl<ss was able to test and fine tune their products for those skipping a wash day. A few tips for extending your wash (and not compromising your hair):

1. Don’t apply too much conditioner to your roots when you’re washing– I don’t bring conditioner above my shoulders
2. Blow dry at least your roots so they are bouncy + voluminous, letting your hair air dry will cause it to feel oily faster
3. Find a dry shampoo (like the No Residue Dry Shampoo from Waterl<ss) that absorbs oils without coating your hair with a ton of residue, leaving it feeling gross (even if it doesn’t look oily).
4. Apply a product to the length of your hair that will give it a little moisture… since you aren’t washing your hair as often, you will need to give it a little hydration to keep it looking silky and smooth. I apply this only on the length so it doesn’t weigh down my hair. I love THIS Instant Moisture Dry Conditioner from Waterl<ss because it also reduces frizz!

I love their dry shampoo because it sprays on clear, leaving no powdery residue, so it works for all hair colors! I spray this on my roots on days 3-5 of not washing my hair and let it absorb into my hair while I put my makeup on. After I’m ready I gently brush the product into my hair and BAM! Good as clean! 

The dry conditioner is another one of my favorite products of Waterl<ss because it adds instant moisture and reduces frizz! My favorite way to use the product is on days when my hair is sleek + straight to keep it looking smooth and hydrated.
