So excited for a week at the most magical place on earth! While I know this visit might look different than previous years, I have no doubt that the magic is still there.
I’ll be sharing lots of tips, tricks + favorites on Instagram stories this week, but I thought for now I would hit the high points of our itinerary, what my favorite rides are and what’s in my suitcase.
What we did at Disney March 2021:
Day 1: travel day
3pm: check into Grand Floridian
6pm: dinner at Chevy’s Fresh Mex + ice cream at Kilwins in Celebration
8pm: quick Publix (in Celebration) run for snacks + things for our rooms
Day 2: Magic Kingdom
8am: breakfast at the Gasparilla Island Grill (I did oatmeal + a muffin) *due to covid, this was a mobile order only dining experience which could be done through the My Disney Experience app*
9am: head over to Magic Kingdom via the monorail — this morning we rode: Pirates of the Caribbean, Mine Train and Big Thunder Mountain
12pm: mobile ordered lunch at Pecos Bill (I did a chicken rice bowl) *PRO TIP: place your order for lunch while standing in line for a ride about 30 minutes to an hour before you’re ready to eat. That will have your order ready for pickup as soon as you’re off the ride!
1pm: rode Haunted Mansion, barnstormer and Little Mermaid
2pm: back to Grand Floridian for the kids to nap and sat by the pool
530pm: had Pizza delivered from Flippers to the hotel and ate by the pool
630pm: went back over to Magic Kingdom via the brand new walking path from the Grand Floridian (about .5 mile one way)
6pm: rode the carousel, Peter Pan and Mine Train (again) + had a Dole Whip
Day 3: Hollywood Studios
9am: mobile ordered breakfast at the Gasparilla Island Grill (I did an egg + cheese croissant)
10am: head over to Hollywood Studios via our car

10am: sat by the pool all morning
12pm: lunch by the pool (I had an uncrushable, carrots + an orange)
4pm: went over to Animal Kingdom via our car
430pm: rode Safari (no wait), Flight of Passage (wait was 50 minutes) and Na’vi River + had a pickle and popcorn
6pm: mobile ordered dinner at Satu’li Canteen (I had chicken, beans + rice bowl)
7pm: rode Expedition Everest *PRO TIP: you can do rider exchange if you have a kid that isn’t tall enough to ride and you’ll get two fast passes so someone is able to ride again, while someone waits with the kid who isn’t able to ride
Day 5: Pool day / no parks
10am: slow morning, so I just did a granola bar. The boys all woke up early and played golf at 7am
1030am: Sat by the pool
12pm: boys returned from golf with Chick Fil A (my order right now is a chicken sandwich with american cheese and extra pickles with a diet lemonade)
1pm: more sitting by the pool while the kids swim / preggo me needed an uncrustable for a snack
630pm: dinner at Roccos Tacos (I did the mexican cobb salad with spicy ground beef — definitely recommend their table side guac, too)
