It’s a huge SALE where brand new items are marked down, not last season’s picked over stuff, and tons of pre-fall items, like denim, outerwear and sweaters! This is the time to stock up on designer or anything cashmere, leather and suede because the price will never be this low again, and y’all– and lets be real, cashmere, leather and suede N E V E R go out of style.

August 4-18: early access begins for card members… don’t have a card? apply HERE. While it’s nice getting first dibs with the card, it’s NBD if you wait until public access– you’ll get the added bonus of seeing what all of us are shopping and how it fits.. etc.

August 19-30: public access for errrrrbody!

WHAT TO BUY?

Like I mentioned earlier, these aren’t last season’s items that didn’t sell– they are brand new! These items will go back up to a normal price (and probably stay there for the rest of the season, if they don’t sell out) on August 30th. So, if you see something you like and think you’ll wear a lot– DON’T HESITATE! Because chances are, someone else is thinking the same thing and that item won’t last long. This is where I stock up designer staples: leather jackets, suede jackets, denim, cashmere sweaters, leather booties, suede boots, designer bags… you get the picture. BUT this is also a great time to get those closet staple you’ll wear all year long– I’ll be chatting both over the course of the sale.

I know sales are overwhelming and kinda frustrating, but I am HERE TO HELP YOU! So avoid the chaos and pages and pages of items and let me do the heavy lifting. I will comb through those pages tirelessly so y’all don’t have to– trust. I am also going to be doing TONS of try on sessions so y’all get the full and honest truth about fit + how I style each item.

WHAT AM I SHOPPING FOR?

I’ll be looking for a new leather jacket, straight leg denim, barefoot dreams blanket, tan suede booties, faux leather leggings, a longline blazer, boyfriend denim jacket and new sneakers. I’ve gone through the preview and here is what is on my wishlist: 

HOW AM I PLANNING ON COVERING THE SALE ON OTTESTYLE?

Today, August 3rd, I’m sharing my favorite items from the sale preview + sharing a breakout by category over on Instagram stories + the LTK app.

On August 4th I will be showing you exactly what I purchased and why I chose those items– hopefully providing a little insight into how to shop this beast of a sale.

Once my package arrives I will do a try on haul reviewing quality + sizing of each item (in great detail) and sharing how I plan to style the pieces. Then, I’ll fill in that week with regularly scheduled programming.

But back at it on the 19th to refresh my favorites in each category for public access! We’ll see how the rest of the sale shakes out from here– y’all be sure to let me know how you want me to cover this sale.
